gramma luella update:
my cousin reports that our grandmother is paralyzed on the right side and unable to speak coherently. I’m planning to drive my mom to Bend, OR to see her in the hospital on Wednesday. I am not looking forward to seeing my beloved gramma lu in such a helpless state, but I am glad I am here in Portland and able to make this trip to give her the biggest hug she can handle.

Gramma Luella had a stroke yesterday.
