don’t tell anyone…
but tomorrow is Friday. and it’s a real Friday! I have both Saturday and Sunday off work. I have had exactly one day off since Christmas day. Wednesday. and it was spent babysitting for a coworker and then babysitting for friends. oh, and those dogs. they are a full time job. but I ditched them tonight at their own apartment and now I feel like it’s christmas eve or the night before my birthday, I’m so freaking excited for tomorrow to get here and be over… oh, the things I have planned! getting rid of my christmas tree before it spontaneously ignites, doing a lot of swiffering and vacuuming, sleeping in… I should probably fix the kitchen faucet that has been dripping since thanksgiving (don’t worry, I’ve been keeping my portable dishwasher hooked up to it when I’m not using it so the drip is blocked). but don’t tell anyone, because they might decide it’s a mistake that I was left off the work schedule and no no no I need a two day weekend. on a weekend.
